Tinubu To Pay 1Day Visit To Enugu, commission Projects

The president of Nigeria, Bola Ahmed Tinubu is set to pay a one day working visit to Enugu State.

This was disclosed by the executive governor of Enugu, H.E Peter Ndubisi Mbah on his X handle, 9jaglover reports.

Furthermore, he revealed that the president is coming to commission projects executed in the state.

According to him;

I’m delighted to share that His Excellency, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu @officialABAT will pay a state visit to our beloved state tomorrow during which he will commission some of the transformative projects we’ve executed.

In addition, he listed the projects which the president is expected to commission on his visit tomorrow. They include the following;

1. 30 completed smart school projects from the 260 flagged off earlier

2. 60 completed type 2 primary health care out of 260 under construction

3. The completed multi-auditorium Enugu International Conference Centre.

4. 90 urban roads, and our state-of-the-art Command and Control Centre with 150 patrol vehicles fitted with AI-embedded surveillance cameras are repositioning our state as a hub of progress, safety, and opportunity

Finally,The governor described the coming of the president as a milestone for the state.

The President’s visit will be a milestone for us; a testament to our shared vision that is taking shape. We are excited to welcome Mr President to Enugu State.

Meanwhile the Governor recently pass the 2025 Budget which he described as “Budget of exceptional growth and inclusive prosperity”.

He allocated over 80% of the budget to capital projects.

According to him

“N837.9 billion representing 86%  allocated to capital expenditure, and N133.1 billion (14%) for recurrent expenditure”

 

Similarly, the governor allocated over 30% to education which he described as the bedrocks of every society.

“Education, as the bedrock of our future, takes the largest share for the second consecutive year with N320.6 billion (over 33%).”.

We hope that the visit of Tinubu in Enugu will be a blessing to the state.
