Salwan Momika: An Assyrian Refugee Who Was Killed In Sweden, 9jaglover writes
An Assyrian asylum seeker based in Europe was two days ago killed by unidentified assailant in Sweden.
Salwan Momika is a fierce critic of islam and became popular after repeatedly Burning Quarans in protest against the religion.
On his X Bio, he described himself as Thinker, Critic and Burner of Quaran in Sweden. He was also born into a catholic Christian home
Momika was also an asylum seeker who has been seeking ways to get documentation in Sweden which failed.
On the 16th of January 2025, Momika disclose that he lost his asylum case in Sweden.
According to him “Today the trial has ended and I have faced the charges against me for criticizing Islam. The prosecutor is asking the court to extradite me to Iraq just because I criticized Islam and burned the Quran.”.
However, this development caused him to seek for another asylum into USA before his unfortunate death.
In one of his numerous posts on X, Momika begged his followers to donate to his PayPal, Crypto wallet etc

An X user Ari was sad over how Sweden could not protect her citizens.
