I’ve been shouting about this for over five years now. Enugu is crying out for a proper gym centre.
I wish a brand like iFitness would come to Enugu.
The state needs a modern gym house.

2. A Proper Water Park for Adults and Kids
Enugu doesn’t have a standard water park. Families need a place to relax and enjoy, just like the ones you see in Delta, Abuja, and Lagos. The entire Southeast could benefit from this. A proper water park would draw crowds and create memories.
3. Zip Line Centre
Imagine setting up a zip line centre in Enugu’s hilly terrain. The excitement and tourist attraction would be massive. People would travel from all over the Southeast just for the thrill. Enugu literally means “hills” (Enugwu). It’s a natural fit for such a business.
4. Event Centre
This is an area many people overlook. Imagine a multi-story building that has four sections of event halls. For instance:
• The top floor could hold 50 people.
• The next floor 100,

7. Bunker Homes for Low-Income Earners
Imagine creating a home with bunk beds for very low-class individuals like barrow pushers, hawkers, and even beggars. They could subscribe daily, weekly, or monthly to have a place to lay their heads. It could also help people who suddenly find themselves in rental crises.
Yes, it would be difficult to manage because of the mentality of the people, but with the right structures in place, it’s achievable.
Having lived in Enugu, been born here, and run businesses in this town, I’ve seen these gaps firsthand. Any investor who chooses to fill them will surely reap the rewards.
