Invest In Enugu: What #50m Can Yield With These Business Ideas
INVEST IN ENUGU STATE. By 9jaglover.com.ng
Enugu State is receiving the best PR and Infrastructure under the current leadership of Peter Ndubisi Mbah.

The state in no doubt is massively growing as the governor targets a $30b IGR before 2030.
Many moribund infrastructures are coming back to life in the state. For instance, the ICC centre, Presidential hotel, smart schools etc.
We want to look at “7 Lucrative Business Ideas to Invest in Enugu State with ₦50M and Above”.
Here’s what you can invest in Enugu State with ₦50M and above:
1. A Proper Gym Centre
I’ve been shouting about this for over five years now. Enugu is crying out for a proper gym centre.
I wish a brand like iFitness would come to Enugu.
The state needs a modern gym house.
If you have the means, invest in this and thank me later.
2. A Proper Water Park for Adults and Kids
Enugu doesn’t have a standard water park. Families need a place to relax and enjoy, just like the ones you see in Delta, Abuja, and Lagos. The entire Southeast could benefit from this. A proper water park would draw crowds and create memories.
3. Zip Line Centre
Imagine setting up a zip line centre in Enugu’s hilly terrain. The excitement and tourist attraction would be massive. People would travel from all over the Southeast just for the thrill. Enugu literally means “hills” (Enugwu). It’s a natural fit for such a business.
4. Event Centre
This is an area many people overlook. Imagine a multi-story building that has four sections of event halls. For instance:
• The top floor could hold 50 people.
• The next floor 100,
• The third 200,
•And the ground floor 500 or more.
The only place that has something close to this is Holy Ghost, and it’s old. This idea has potential if you’re ready to invest in it.
5. Old People’s Home
With so many Nigerians relocating abroad, many aged parents are left without anyone to care for them. I know several cases where people have had to hire help to stay with their elderly parents. Opening a care home for the aged will be a big win in Enugu in the next few years. It might not look like it now, but mark my words.
6. Fashion Design Houses
This is an idea I’m dashing to you guys because SGM and I have been sitting on it for years. Imagine a place where tailors without sewing machines or equipment can subscribe monthly or yearly to use the company’s machines. It would be like a co-working space for fashion designers. This would solve a real problem for many up-and-coming tailors.
7. Bunker Homes for Low-Income Earners
Imagine creating a home with bunk beds for very low-class individuals like barrow pushers, hawkers, and even beggars. They could subscribe daily, weekly, or monthly to have a place to lay their heads. It could also help people who suddenly find themselves in rental crises.
Yes, it would be difficult to manage because of the mentality of the people, but with the right structures in place, it’s achievable.
Having lived in Enugu, been born here, and run businesses in this town, I’ve seen these gaps firsthand. Any investor who chooses to fill them will surely reap the rewards.
This has been a research I have done here. You can still do yours and come up with something beautiful.
This is Still not a financial advice.
