The government of Enugu is currently revolutionising the educational system of the state with it’s launch of Enugu Smart School across the State across the 260 wards.

Mbah Also invested 33% of the state’s 2024 budget into Education which he is doing great.

A resident of the state Benkingsley Nwashara on his X post acknowledged the fact that the smart school is a reality.

According to him “I visited one of the smart schools built by Governor Peter Mbah @PNMbah in Owoh.

There’s basically no single private school in Enugu that has the level of highly sophisticated facilities this school has.

And it is hard for any kid to attend this kind of school and be average.

Even most Nigeria universities can boast of the kind of highly sophisticated different labs they’ve got.

Education wise, this guy is out performing every SouthEast Governor. I knew this will happen when I saw his budget.

Enugu gradually moving to the promise land in education. I hope tertiary institutions in Enugu get this boost too.

Originally built by former Governor Chimaroke Nnamani, this ambitious project was unfortunately left unfinished. Two governors after him didn’t complete it either, leaving the hospital abandoned for nearly 20 years.

In September, Governor Peter Mbah announced plans to revive and complete the hospital, a 300-bed ultramodern quaternary health facility designed to reverse medical tourism and position Enugu as a prime destination for healthcare, business, investment, tourism, and residency.

The project, led by Health Commissioner Prof. Emmanuel Obi, is strategically located on Rangers Avenue in Enugu city, ensuring easy access from the international airport.
